Excel Theranostics · Australia pathway

When US theranostics criteria aren’t met, there’s a structured path forward.

Excel Theranostics helps US prostate cancer patients get a local consult, then — when appropriate — a coordinated referral to treatment in Australia, including navigator support for travel and logistics.

This site does not provide medical advice. Eligibility is determined by licensed clinicians.

Who this pathway is for

  • Adults with prostate cancer whose care team is discussing theranostics (for example, Lu-177 / PSMA)
  • Patients who do not meet current US FDA label, trial, or typical eligibility criteria for theranostics in the United States
  • People able to consider international travel if a clinician and Australian partner clinic agree it is appropriate
  • Caregivers helping a loved one explore options without replacing their US physician

How it works

  1. Contact Excel

    Form, phone (800) 550-3194, or email info@exceltheranostics.com.

  2. Local US consult

Review history, imaging, and why US theranostics criteria may not be met.

  3. Shared decision

If you choose to proceed, we open a navigator case.

  4. Australia intake

Records go to [partner clinic AU] for clinical review (accept / defer / decline).

  5. Travel & treatment

Navigator helps with flights, lodging, and caregiver logistics; clinical care is delivered in Australia.

  6. Return of care

Your US physician receives updates and a post-visit summary for continued management.

We coordinate access and logistics. We do not invent results or replace your oncology team.

About eligibility

US FDA criteria, trial rules, and coverage policies can mean some patients are not candidates for theranostics in the United States even when the topic is clinically relevant. Excel’s role is to help you and your physician understand whether an Australia pathway is worth exploring — not to diagnose you on a website.

Not medical advice.

Only licensed clinicians (US and Australia) decide medical eligibility. Completing a web form does not reserve treatment or guarantee acceptance by [partner clinic AU].

What we handle

What Excel handles

  • US consult scheduling
  • Records packaging and partner-clinic intake coordination
  • Named navigator for travel, lodging, and caregiver logistics support
  • Milestone updates back to your referring physician
  • Clear expectations on process — without hype

What we don’t handle

  • Visa adjudication or immigration legal advice
  • Promises about treatment response, dates, or insurance coverage abroad
  • International care is often self-pay — we share known ranges when available: [cost ranges TBD]

Support for patients and caregivers

A named navigator helps with travel, lodging, and caregiver logistics so your focus can stay on care decisions — not paperwork alone.

FAQ

What is theranostics?

Theranostics combines targeted diagnostic imaging with targeted radionuclide therapy. Your care team can explain whether it applies to your situation.

Why Australia?

Some patients who do not meet US FDA criteria for theranostics explore care with partner clinics abroad. Excel coordinates a US consult and logistics when that path is appropriate.

Do you guarantee I’ll be treated or that treatment will work?

No. The Australian clinic decides acceptance. No one should promise outcomes online.

Will my US doctor stay involved?

Yes — that is the design. We update your referring physician and return care after the visit.

How fast can this happen?

Timelines depend on records, clinic intake, travel authorization, and scheduling. Your navigator will give dated milestones — not marketing promises.

How much does it cost?

International care is often self-pay. We share known ranges and clinic fee information when available: [cost ranges TBD — finance].

How do I start?

Request a consult, complete the short screener above, or call (800) 550-3194.

Referring physicians — how to refer

Under-5-minute referral path. We coordinate access and logistics; we don’t take over your patient.

Referral steps

  1. Contact Excel — call (800) 550-3194 or email info@exceltheranostics.com with a brief clinical context.
  2. Send records / one-pager — share relevant notes, imaging summaries, and (optionally) our physician one-pager with the patient.
  3. US consult coordination — Excel schedules a local US consult to review history and why US theranostics criteria may not be met.
  4. AU partner intake — if appropriate and the patient chooses to proceed, records go to [partner clinic AU] for clinical review.
  5. Return of care — you remain the referring physician; you receive updates and a post-visit summary for continued management.
